To the Summit of Mt. Everest

The mission called Bending Horizons is one step in a broader campaign from sea, to summit, to space 2015-2017 to engage and inspire an interdisciplinary perspective to human exploration and performance.
NASA Astronaut & Everest Summiteer Scott Parazynski notes "The vacuum of space is not that dissimilar from high on Everest". Underwater and zero G flights are also space analogue training environments for EVA (extra-vehicular activity or spacewalk).
Step by step, the pair plan to design and undertake a creative form of civilian space prequalification by 2017 through a series of extreme art adventures.
